The inhabitants of the Tottenham Court Road have presented a Petition to Parliament, depre cating the construction of Tramways. Along that road. They alleged in their Petition that the con struction of such Tramways would interfere with their trade, and affect their interests, and that owing to the fear of accidents, and inconvenience occasioned thereby, their customers would be deterred from continuing to visit their shops.
