With an emphasis on techniques, this volume focuses on the applications of basic mathematics and differential and integral calculus in the field of business, economics and the life and social sciences. This book constitutes refereed proceedings of the 8th Conference on Information and Communication Technologies of Ecuador, TICEC 2020, held in November 2020.
