A strange, nameless man grows up on a farm, which looks like any other farm in the gently rolling land of Eastern Pennsylvania, and is run by monks who called themselves Brothers. He is forced by the Brothers to do hard work. However, he's inhumanly strong and he move and run much faster than any of the Brothers, as well, he can jump incredibly well. One day, the Abbot who is the head of the Brothers gives him some instructions and a little money. The man is then sent on a journey which leads him to Brazil There he takes a river boat up the Amazon to the city of Manaus where he obtains supplies, and continues by canoe, up the river. One horrible night, he becomes sick and spits his teeth out, one by one. However, over the next month, he grows new, meat tearing teeth as he also grows even stronger, along with fur all over his face. These changes force him to continue his trip at night. As per the directions the Abbot gave him, he paddles up the Amazon until he finds a waterfall. There he climbs the waterfall cliff until he meets an individual who looks like him. The meeting triggers memories and the man suddenly realizes that he's Vekor, the King of the Voren. The Voren are a wolf like group of people living in a hidden part of the Amazon basin. The Voren don't believe that the newcomer is actually Vekor and he must fight the strongest of the Voren warriors in a death match. Vekor wins and becomes the King of the Voren. Vekor finds himself also mated with Avera. From Avera, he learns that he must prove that he's truly Vekor. In order to do this he must engage in a series of tests, which if he fails any of them, will result in his death. If he passes the testing, he'll then lead the Voren back through the Gate of Exile and away from their jungle home of more than a thousand years. Unfortunately, Vekor has no idea where to find the gate of exile. As he passes each test, the objects that he takes give him information about who he really is and what he must do. As he lives among the Voren, Vekor participates in the hunts that the males conduct to feed the village and also in the Moon Dances that are a vital ceremonial part of the Voren life. He is better than any of the males at the warrior tasks and also better than any of the males at the ritual Moon Dances. He learns that a group of people called Avarra exiled the Voren, many years before, and he must lead the Voren back to face the Avarra, who are a tall, handsome, nearly hairless people with a hidden secret that only the Avarra Science Alklar and Vekor know. The Voren have a temple in the jungle and the temple contains a time line. The time line ends after the next Moon Dance and the Voren must follow Vekor back through the Gate of Exile, their religion demands it. Vekor must lead the Voren warriors against the science of the Avarra and then he and his wolf men will breed with the Avarra!

Set against a brilliant panorama of European expansion into the West in the late 1800s, Moon Dance is the horrifying tale of the illegitimate son of the Count von Bachl-Wolfling, leader of a pack of Viennese werewolves, and of the boy's all-too-human governess, Speranza. The pack has decided to emigrate to America, in search of wild lands and unsuspicious human prey. But unbeknownst to them, the Dakota territory is already home to the Shungmanitu--a clan of the Lakota Sioux who become wolves by the light of the full moon.

In her first books, Behaving as if the God in All Life Mattered, Machaelle Small Wright wrote: "If we allowed all the knowledge from our soul level to fully flow and be totally accessible to our conscious self ... before we disciplined ourselves on how to respond to such as flow on the physical level, we would shatter. Blindly expressing limitless through limitation would be more pressure than our body could bear." In Behaving, Machaelle scratched the surface on a whole new reality. Now, in Dancing, she opens the door and invites us in. Out to discredit the "Ozzie and Harriet" School of Spirituality, Machaelle gives us extensive groundwork, supported by an actual account of her own expansion experience. She tells of her introduction to the White Brotherhood - that evolved group of souls who assist humans in their evolutionary development - in a story told through journal entries for those early years of her nature work. Reading Dancing, you feel like a bird on Machaelle's shoulder ... watching the expansion unfold.

In Our Last Blue Moon, dancer Kris O'Shee, widow of Alan Cheuse, the novelist, beloved teacher, and literary commentator known as the "voice of books" on NPR's All Things Considered for over thirty years, tells the story of the loss of her husband after he sustained injuries in a car crash in the summer of 2015. O'Shee chronicles the days in the Northern California hospital, the bedside vigil after Cheuse lapsed into a coma, and ultimately, his death. In her publishing debut, O'Shee writes in engaging and honest prose, in a memoir that is deeply personal and self-aware, without any self-pity or cliché. This is a story vivid in language, awash in love, and honest in reflecting on twenty-five happily shared years with the love of O'Shee's life. Reeling from Cheuse's death, O'Shee was thrust into widowhood. Rattled by grief, she eventually wrote her way to a new stage of life. "...written with grace, charm, wit, and mischief." - Molly Giles "This is a story of ultimate grace, told with ... elegant precision." - Ana Menendez "Her grief and joy will stay with me for a long time." - Matt Klam

Bestselling author Mariah Stewart shows her softer side in this endearing love story of two searching hearts... Georgia Enright has dedicated her life to dance. But at age twenty-six, her dreams of becoming a lead dancer are fleeting. Having missed college and the sweet moments of ordinary life, she ventures to Pumpkin Hill, an old farm owned by her newly found half-sister, Laura Bishop, to contemplate her future. There, discovering an affinity for the simple pleasures of country life and a barn just perfect for giving dance lessons, Georgia enjoys in oasis of peace...until Matthew Bishop shows up. An abandoned child taken in by the same loving parents who had adopted Laura, Matt Bishop has plans of his own for that empty old barn at Pumpkin Hill—plans that include a veterinary clinic, not a ballet studio! The only thing the rugged doctor resents more than Laura's interest in her birth family the Enrights, is having to share the premises with one. Yet despite himself, he can't deny there's something special about the graceful, blonde Enright who has brightened his world—and if he's not careful, she just may find a way to dance into his heart.
