L’amélioration de la fiabilité humaine est une préoccupation forte dans le secteur de la production industrielle. En effet, les facteurs humains sont des éléments centraux et indispensables au fonctionnement d’une entreprise mais sont par définition faillibles. Depuis des décennies, des études pédagogiques, cognitives, psychologiques ou encore ergonomiques ont été menées et ont conduit à l’élaboration de plusieurs axes d’amélioration de la fiabilité humaine. D’une part, les facteurs internes relatifs au fonctionnement cognitif humain doivent être connus pour comprendre et anticiper les comportements des individus lors de la réalisation d’une tâche. D’autre part, les conditions externes d’ordre organisationnel et structurel doivent être maitrisés afin de prévenir et limiter les occurrences d’erreurs humaines. Au sein des entreprises, différentes méthodes et programmes inspirés de ces études sont ainsi mis en place afin de garantir la fiabilité et la sécurité des produits et des processus. Ce travail présente dans un premier temps, les différents paramètres régissant la production d’erreurs humaines. Dans un second temps, un exemple concret de programme de compréhension, d’analyse, de prévention et de réduction d’erreurs mis en place au sein d’une entreprise pharmaceutique sera présenté. La finalité de ce travail est donc de transmettre quelques notions et conseils pratiques afin d’élaborer un savoir sur la fiabilité humaine et d’aider les professionnels dans la démarche de gestion des erreurs humaines.

This bilingual publication results from a four-day symposium aimed at capturing the general directions and analytical issues that characterize approaches to sustainable use in Africa. The papers included in this work are organized under four major headings: modes of use, devolution, scale issues and external issues. Authors explore these themes through the use of case studies and the description of specific regional experiences.
