John Gay (d.1688/1689) immigrated in 1630 from England to Watertown, Massachusetts, and later helped establish Dedham, Massachusetts. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Iowa, and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to New Brunswick and elsewhere in Canada.
