The following list, which may not tell the full story, will indicate to some extent how much she gave: New Bethel in Stanly County, 1806; St. Stephen's, 1837; St. James, ' 1843; Trinity, 1857; Holy Trinity, 1870; Mt. Olive, 1878; Pros perity, 1879; Mt. Hermon and Cold Water, 1881; Mt. Gilead and St. Mar tin's, all in Cabarrus County. Quite a number moved to Illinois and had part in organizing congregations there. During the great revival move ments the Methodist Church drew upon her membership. Yet the ongoing life of the congregation has never been stronger than today in internal activities arid support of the whole work of the church.
