About the Author:Nathan Zemar devoted years of study and practice to understand the mind-body connection in hopes of finding wellness and wholeness in his life. In his own search to find the secrets of healing his addiction to narcotics, he discovered that this healing does not stop with sobriety, in fact, this was just the beginning. In his mission to understand how he could be liberated from his bondage, Nathan discovered that in order to truly find value in his life, deeper healing was not only possible but necessary. Now, what began as a quest to heal his own heart, has evolved into a mission to help others living in states of bondage to find their inner light, so that they too can share it with the world. After he was initially told by conventional practitioners that his trauma was permanent and he would struggle with addiction for the rest of his life, he could not accept these answers and began his search to unlock the secrets to his recovery. In completing his education, Nathan opened his private practice. He now specializes as a hypnotherapist and works with anybody who has a desire to remodel their reality and reach their personal goals. In many cases he finds himself passing these same tools to his clients. Be it individuals who seek liberation from their personal cycles of addiction, the many symptoms of experiencing traumatic stress, or an individual seeking a new direction, a new experience of reality is always found once healing begins. In his book "I May Be a Junkie, But I'm Not Garbage," Nathan shares his own incredible story of healing and transformation. Today he operates his private practice, traveling, and sharing the keys he's found on his journey.

Sheena is a vampire from Leeds who works in a call center, and has a dark secret that even she doesn't know about. Her boyfriend has to discover it the hard way, alas. Like the other two vampire stories included in the book, both of which feature vampire babies, "Sheena" is a love story, which shares the life-enhancing attributes common to all love stories. Here are ten tales of the fantastic, the horrific, and the gothic, including: "Rose, Crowned with Thorns," "Rent," "Tenebrio," "Behind the Wheel," "Innocent Blood," "Emptiness," "The Woman in the Mirror," "Regression," "Heartbreaker," and "Sheena." Great reading by a great writer!

Everyone knows that fossil fuels won’t last forever. Something needs to change at some point, regardless of whether the issue is climate change or because we need a practical replacement for petroleum as cheap supplies run out. But while headlines suggest that a green-energy paradise is around the corner, not many are aware of the immense technical challenges that stand in its way. To turn our backs on fossil fuels, a staggering amount of work will be required to refit a global energy sector that has grown systematically for over a century. News of the latest green advancements can make it seem like plug-and-play technology, and simply a matter of switching from one source to another. In reality, the challenge is far greater, and infinitely more complicated. To make matters worse, environmentalists and fossil-fuel defenders wage continuous but fruitless war, and the growing gap makes it impossible to have any sort of constructive dialogue. Each camp becomes more locked in their position with every exchange, and the most revolutionary ideas never see the light of day. Instead of building, time and money are wasted sparring. Sparing no sacred cows, Terry Etam cuts through the media rhetoric, government propaganda, and widespread ignorance of the energy sector to get to the heart of what needs to change—and what needs to stay the same—if the challenges of moving away from fossil fuels are to be met, while maintaining the quality of life we have come to expect and rely on.
