Il volume raccoglie i contributi presentati al convegno internazionale di studi ABC – Accoglienza e beni culturali – Hospitality and Cultural Heritage, promosso dall’Istituto di Studi Avanzati dell’Università di Bologna e svoltosi il 24 ottobre 2019. L’opera vuole dimostrare l’importanza del patrimonio culturale come strumento per l’integrazione sociale dei migranti. I saggi, a firma di importanti studiosi internazionali, illustrano alcune delle più significative esperienze a livello europeo di valorizzazione del museo come luogo di inclusione sociale, riconoscimento e mediazione interculturale.
