Candid Conversations about Ministry Essentials Dan Bohi and Dr. Rob McCorkle believe that the gospel is not a benign creed void of supernatural power, and neither do they believe it's incapable of fully redeeming the human heart from all sin. Their belief inspired a three hour interview where Dan candidly shared his personal journey that has included a wide range of ministry experiences. With honesty and humility they discussed: God's calls to ordinary people to do extraordinary things Miraculous stories, divine encounters and supernatural manifestations The place for God-called apostles and prophets in the Holiness movement The ministries of healing and impartation Hindrances to revival and how to sustain a kingdom culture This book will inspire you and challenge your traditional thinking with profound biblical insights, and hopefully cause you to live and teach a message of holiness and healing. Dan Bohi is an itinerant minister with a mission to awaken the Church of Jesus Christ to the power, purity, and freedom of the Spirit-filled life found, realized, experienced and exhibited in the lives of believers in the book of Acts. Dan and Debbie have four married children and thirteen grandchildren. Rob McCorkle is the Founder of Fire School Ministries whose mission is to redig the wells in the Holiness movement by reawakening the message of purity and power. Along with pastoring in Columbus, Ohio, he travels speaking in churches and conferences. Rob and Cindy have two married children and two grandchildren. "

Holiness denominations at the turn of the twentieth century were characterized by three teachings: sanctification, divine healing, and dispensational views of the second coming. Faith Cure explores the divine healing movement between 1870 and 1920, examining its practitioners, its cultural milieu, its biblical and theological foundations, and its results. Hardesty concludes with a discussion of spiritual healing today and its connection with the broader cultural search for alternative medicines.

After an illness interrupted his ministry for more than two years, Andrew Murray received a miraculous restoration of health through the prayers of God's people. Divine Healing is the classic work resulting from Murray's deep study of Scripture on this topic, and the sermons that resulted from that study. In it, he unpacks the promise of James 5, that the prayer of faith will heal the sick. He writes about the prerequisites for healing, which are repentance from sin and the sanctification of the body by fully giving it over to God. Murray addresses such questions as: Is it God's will to heal the sick? Why are some people healed while others are not? What role do doctors play in miraculous healing? Why do many Christians doubt the gifts of healing? Does sickness come from God or from Satan? Andrew Murray's personal testimony and biblical teaching will serve as inspiration for readers to trust in God's healing touch in their areas of deepest need.

Jesus is still He who heals both soul and body. Salvation offers holiness and healing, and the Holy Spirit is willing to give us a manifestation of His power. When we ask why this divine power is not more often seen, the only biblical answer to be found is: “Because of your unbelief.” Health as well as salvation is to be obtained by faith. The natural tendency of man is to bring about his salvation by his works, and it is only with difficulty that he comes to receive it by faith. But when it is a question of healing the body, he has still more difficulty grasping that truth. As to salvation, he finally accepts it because there is no other way to open the door of heaven. But for the body, he makes use of many other treatments. But happy is he who understands that it is the will of God to show the power of Jesus and to reveal to us His Fatherly love by healing physically as well as spiritually. By doing so, He increases and confirms our faith and teaches us that He demonstrates the power of redemption in the body as well as in the soul. This book provides biblical clarity concerning divine healing, and supplies basic and applicable principles necessary to having faith concerning healing. The author makes it very clear that we are not healed based on who we are, but based on who Christ is.
