Richard Ransom was born in Virginia in 1770. He moved to Caswell Co., North Carolina about 1786 and married in 1792. He died in 1851 in Graves Co., Kentucky.

David Macdonald and Nancy McAdams have traced Charles' descendants to the seventh generation, by which time they had spread out to many parts of the country ...
