Let me just start out by saying that I am not a writer. What I am is a farmer. I'm not the best farmer, probably not the best anything. I'm surely not the best Christian, not even a real good one. So writing this doesn't seem like something that I would do. But God gave me this story and I'm going to do my best to tell it. This story is about me getting a new truck and the circumstances that surrounded the purchase. When it was over, I knew that God had performed a miracle in my life and provided me with the truck that I had really wanted. It wasn't until a couple of days later that I realized that it may not have been about me getting the truck, but about me getting the story. I have tried to tell everyone that I see, but I hope by writing it down, that it will reach many more people than I would have come in contact with. I hope that it will help everyone that reads it, to see the miracles that God provides in our lives every day. I know that it sure has opened my eyes.

While under the cloud of COVID19, in the early summer of 2020, we had plenty of time to consider the past. These are the memoirs of the supernatural blessings along my journey through life and a reflection of the things I have learned through them.

The reader is also given opportunities to see how God has already been talking to them in his/her own life, and then record these examples at the end of every chapter. Each person who reads this book is challenged to grow in his/her relationship with the Lord and is given many tools to help accomplish that. This is important because when a believer has an intimate relationship with the Lord they hear His voice more clearly. The Holy Spirit is then better able to guide and empower the believer to become victorious in their daily walk.

I am an unlikely person to be a long-haul trucker. People comment that I look more like a librarian or an English teacher than a trucker. And I have been both. Trucking is physically a little too hard for me. Perhaps for this reason, my life as a trucker has been one of radical dependence on God. The truck runs, after all, by grace, and I'm on the road only as long as God wants me to be. I have truly experienced that God's mercies are new every morning and are inexhaustible. He always helps! That's what this story is about.
