It is a requirement of The Occupational Safety and Health Administration ( OSHA ) that any person who operates a forklift should receive proper training and be evaluated under a minimum set of safety standards. This curriculum is intended to be used during Forklift Operator Training. Employers can assign an existing trained operator as their in house trainer.
