The final environmental impact statement for the Evergreen Highlands subarea was prepared for the review and comments of citizens, citiizen's groups, and government agencies in compliance with the State Environmental Policy Act of 1971 Chapter 43.21C, Revised code of Washington as revised.

This book draws together a wide range of papers from researchers around the world that address the conservation and biodiversity of vertebrates, particularly those in terrestrial habitats. The subregion is made up of Cambodia; Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Yunnan Province of the People's Republic of China; the Lao People's Democratic Republic; Myanmar; Thailand; and Viet Nam.
