El verano de 2013 ha sido testigo del avance inquietante de los herederos del Nazismo en Europa, especialmente en Grecia, donde finalmente las autoridades del Estado se han decidido a actuar antes de llegar a un escenario cercano a la guerra civil, y en España, donde tras una violenta puesta en escena contra el nacionalismo Catalan, precedido por una vergonzosa y diaria exhibición de simbología Fascista y Nazi por todo el país, con muchos de sus implicados ligados presuntamente al Partido gobernante, o a sus juventudes. Incidentes que a fecha de hoy no han supuesto tramites de expulsión, y se calificaron de "chiquilladas". En este libro se aborda el proceso que les llevo al poder, desde un germen abonado con el racismo, y una religión pagana basada en los mitos nórdicos, el apoyo de los sectores industriales y militares Alemanes, pasando por su intención de extenderse a USA mediante un golpe de estado.

Annually published since 1930, the International bibliography of Historical Sciences (IBOHS) is an international bibliography of the most important historical monographs and periodical articles published throughout the world, which deal with history from the earliest to the most recent times. The works are arranged systematically according to period, region or historical discipline, and within this classification alphabetically. The bibliography contains a geographical index and indexes of persons and authors.

Volume II presents an authoritative overview of the various continuities and changes in migration and globalization from the 1800s to the present day. Despite revolutionary changes in communication technologies, the growing accessibility of long-distance travel, and globalization across major economies, the rise of nation-states empowered immigration regulation and bureaucratic capacities for enforcement that curtailed migration. One major theme worldwide across the post-1800 centuries was the differentiation between 'skilled' and 'unskilled' workers, often considered through a racialized lens; it emerged as the primary divide between greater rights of immigration and citizenship for the former, and confinement to temporary or unauthorized migrant status for the latter. Through thirty-one chapters, this volume further evaluates the long global history of migration; and it shows that despite the increased disciplinary systems, the primacy of migration remains and continues to shape political, economic, and social landscapes around the world.

An authoritative overview of the continuities and changes in migration and globalization from the 1800s to the present day.

Although there is an established historiography on women’s roles during the Spanish Civil War (1936-9), little has been written on Nationalist women in the Republican-held zones. Women were the anti-Republican resisters of the first hour in the capital but they have been largely overlooked in the historical record. During the bitter civil conflict a sector of dissident women helped to create a subversive and clandestine national Catholic space in the heart of Republican Madrid. By examining the vital and invisible role played by women within Madrid’s ‘fifth column’ this monograph offers a new contribution to the gender historiography of the Spanish Civil War and re-evaluates the significance of women in the Nationalist war effort. It explores how and why a sector of Falangist and Catholic women decided to mobilise against the legally constituted Popular Front government in support of an undemocratic military coup. While women’s subversive activities often involved the transgression of traditional gender norms, their social and political agency arose within the conditions and precepts of Catholicism and was conceptualised and imagined within new national-Catholic discourses of ‘holy Crusade.’
