Remnant is a word that defines a small group of people that were dissidents of the established church but wanted to be faithful to the Word of God, although that would cost their own lives. Christian remnants in history were the direct result of the reading of the Word of God. The translation of the Bible in the vernacular language produced a revival among believers that through the reading of the eternal book wanted to follow its teachings and precepts.
