Aerial mapping and reconnaissance had become vital by the middle of the second world war, this is an instructional guide compiling all of the knowledge on the subject gathered up to the point. Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive.
