Yost D. Miller (1814-1873), son of David Miller (b. 1779) and Elizabeth Troyer (b. 1781), was born in Somerset Co., Pennsylvania and moved to Homes Co., Ohio. He married Veronica Berger and settled in Elkhart Co., Indiana. They and most descendants were members of the Amish Mennonite Church.
