Dad, You Were Right: Reflections from a Stubborn Son, is a collection of memories, reflections, and lessons learned from Schatz's Dad, who died suddenly from a brain tumor at age 54. From the author getting slapped in the face by his 3rd grade teacher, to his Dad's attitude while faced with a terminal illness, Dad, You Were Right recounts humorous, emotionally tense, and vulnerable moments, mixed with a twinge of humility as the author recalls the sensible wisdom and unique advice his Dad possessed about life. Dad, You Were Right covers various experiences and recollections from his Dad, written for the author's kids who never met him. The book offers guidance and insight, acquired through stubbornly learning things the "hard way," and realized in the years after his Dad's death. Dad, You Were Right: Reflections from a Stubborn Son offers practical wisdom, values, a touch of caution, and an optimistic mindset that is vital to success, happiness, and contentment for anyone in life.

From the host of the YouTube channel that went viral—Dad, How Do I?—comes a book that’s part memoir/part inspiration/part DIY. Rob Kenney’s father left him and his seven siblings when he was fourteen years old, and the youngest had to fend for themselves. He wished that he had someone who could teach him the basics—how to tie a tie, jump-start a car, unclog a drain, use tools properly—as well as succeed in life. But he and his siblings had to figure these things out on their own. Now a father himself, Rob decided that he would help people out by providing how-to tips as well as advice—and even throw in some bad dad jokes. He started a YouTube channel for anyone looking for fatherly advice, and in the course of three months, gained a following of nearly 2.5 million subscribers, with millions of views for his how-to and inspirational videos. In this book, Rob shares his story of overcoming a difficult childhood with the strength of faith and family, and offers inspiration and hope. In addition, he provides 50 practical DYI instructions (30 of which will be unique to the book), illustrated with helpful line drawings.

Laughing Through the Tears Shortly after Eric Haywood's retirement party, he and Crystal, his wife of twenty-eight years, embark on the first of several trips they planned long before he retired. When they reach their hotel in Las Vegas, both are more excited than two kids on their first trip to Disneyland. But a few hours later their excitement is over-shadowed by Eric's strange and unexpected behavior. Crystal is use to Eric's sometimes funny sometimes crazy antics but this newest episode both angers and alarms her. After returning home to prepare for their next venture, a seven day cruise, Crystal and Eric keep a scheduled appointment with their doctor. Crystal decides to put the episode in Vegas behind them and does not mention it to Dr. Winters. Their cruise proves to be more exciting than they ever dreamed and the two emerge happier and more in love than ever. When they return, Crystal is not prepared for Dr. Winters' diagnosis; Eric has dementia. Crystal refuses to believe that all the years they've spent loving each other and raising their four children will soon be erased from Eric's memory causing their lives to change forever. Crystal goes from a state of frustration and denial to understanding and acceptance. With the help of her children, her best friend Sherry and her next door neighbor Dorothy, Crystal learns to laugh in spite of her tears.
