There was once a crow who lived in a tree by a waterhole. Each morning, she stared into the water, and saw another crow staring back. Crow thought Crow-in-the-waterhole was the most wonderful bird she had ever seen. 'She looks like a crow who could change the world. I wish I could be like her.' Finally, Crow flies away to seek her destiny, hoping to become as wonderful as Crow-in-the-waterhole. She travels far and wide, helping others along the way, only to find that her true destiny lies within. Beautifully jacketed in a hardback cover, Crow and the Waterhole is an inspiring and uplifting picture book for younger readers.

Wind Shadow Chronicles is a profound and imaginative fantasy book-series that challenges the proverbial questions of faith, science and morals. It meticulously depicts a dark and unforgiving world where hope must be restored. The story moves with tenacious pace, unveiling heightened mysteries and revelations that capture a reader’s imagination. The first book, Secrets of the White Lake takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, where a mysterious aurora hovers in the sky like a beacon, silently, eloquently. To some the mysterious lights were nothing more than a natural phenomenon while others saw religious manifestations. But for an old Indian shaman it was a prophetic sign that his seventh year has passed. Reluctantly, he must return the children back to a ravaged world—this is their journey home.

Watarrka National Park lies within the Red Centre of Australia, approximately halfway between the township of Alice Springs and the giant sandstone monolith of Uluru. The Park covers a region of outstanding scenic beauty, cultural importance and biodiversity significance at the western end of the George Gill Ranges. It lies within one of the driest regions of Australia, and the planet, but the rocky gorges, sheltered creek lines and perennial waterholes provide a refuge for plants and animals from an earlier and wetter period of Australia’s history. This book is a compilation of the very best of over a million images collected from camera traps running almost continuously at Watarrka waterholes between 2015 and 2022. These images form part of a scientific dataset tracking biodiversity change under a warming and drying climate. They also provide much insight into the species behaviours and interactions of wildlife largely unaffected by human presence.

In this fast-paced sequel to The Interrogation of Ashala Wolf, Ashala and her friends face a new danger from the least expected source — one of their own. After a daring raid on Detention Center 3 to rescue their trapped peers, Ashala Wolf and her Tribe of fellow Illegals — children with powerful and inexplicable abilities — are once again entrenched in their safe haven, the Firstwood. Existing in alliance with the ancient trees and the giant intelligent lizards known as saurs, the young people of the Tribe do their best to survive and hide. But the new peace is fractured when Ashala’s friend Ember Crow goes missing, leaving only a cryptic message behind. Ember claims to be harboring terrible secrets about her past that could be a threat to the Tribe and all Illegals. Ashala and her boyfriend, Connor, spring into action, but with Ashala’s Sleepwalking ability functioning erratically and unknown enemies lying in wait, leaving the Firstwood is a dangerous proposition. Can Ashala and Connor protect the Tribe and bring Ember home, or must they abandon one to save the other?
