Dans une première partie, on fait d'une part l'étude des transferts thermiques mis en jeux, en particulier les phénomènes d'échanges par rayonnement grande et courte longueur d'onde par la méthode des flux nets échangés, et d'autre part la systématique générale du programme permettant d'étudier les couplages thermiques de locaux. Dans la seconde partie on présente d'une part la cellule en site réel ainsi que l'ensemble métrologique et en scénari d'expérimentation utilisés, d'autre part on procède à la valorisation du modèle, élaboré dans la première partie, pour deux locaux dont un en serre. On met ainsi en évidence les couplages thermiques entre ces deux locaux.

La pratique du couplage du rayonnement thermique avec la technique CFD est certainement un des moyens les plus efficaces pour faire face à une prédiction de plus en plus exigeante du confort thermo-aéraulique dans les bâtiments. Cependant une étude bibliographique montre que dans la majorité des codes CFD actuels, le rayonnement thermique est encore soit non traité, soit traité comme en milieu semi-transparent, non approprié pour interpréter les échanges radiatifs inter-surfaces privilégiés au bâtiment. Une nouvelle pratique du couplage du rayonnement thermique en milieu transparent avec la technique CFD sous ESTET a été mise au point dans ce mémoire. Ceci consiste à développer un module compétent du rayonnement thermique représentant correctement les échanges radiatifs aussi bien pour les enceintes convexes que concaves, et également compatible à intégrer dans CFD. Vu diverses incompatibilités et des contraintes relatives à ESTET, le système de radiosités parmi les procédés possibles a été retenu d'après un compromis entre la précision et l'efficacité. Pour paramétrer ce système de radiosités, le traitement des facteurs de forme a directement adapté et exploité les données géométriques destiné au CFD. L'importation des techniques d'infographie est mise en jeu: la méthode de lancer de rayon élimine des obstacles, et la méthode des éléments finis et la technique d'hémisphère prennent le relais et s'appliquent alternativement afin de trouver les facteurs de forme précis en maintenant aussi une rapidité de calcul. L'itération de Gauss-Seidel modifiée avec sur-relaxation permet d'acquérir une solution pertinente du système des radiosités dont les sorties de flux incident radiatif sont importées au code ESTET. Ceci met en évidence l'influence sur le champ de température et aussi l'incidence sur le champ dynamique de vitesse grâce au bilan des flux thermiques de la frontière d'écoulement. La qualité et la fiabilité de ce modèle sont enfin assurées par une qualification adaptée

The air distribution in occupied spaces is a major issue of public concern. It is widely recognized that the quality of air and the nature of airflow can affect the health of occupants and the energy consumed in buildings and transport vehicles. ROOMVENT is the principal international conference in the field of air distribution. It was first initiated in 1987 by SCANVAC, the Scandinavian Federation of Heating, Ventilating and Sanitary Engineering Associations in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. The aim of the Conference is to bring together researchers from universities and research institutes, engineers from industry and government officials and policy makers, with the goal of experiencing the latest techniques for measuring and analyzing indoor air flow, the visualization of indoor air flow patterns, the evaluation of ventilation parameters and the most recent developments in computer simulation techniques of room airflow. It is hoped that the theme of ROOMVENT 2000 "Ventilation for Health and Sustainable Environment" will set the scene for room air distribution research and development for the new millennium.
