My first thought, and I swear to you I am not making this up, was she looked like a hooker. A hundred-year-old- hooker. There was nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. I was where I agreed to meet her. I walked towards her thinking, what do I do next. My next shock was almost too much to comprehend. The dress was cut low in the front. Way too low. She was not wearing a bra. Her breasts were, how can I best describe them, well they were long. Yes I said long. Somewhat flat but definitely long. I do not generally carry a ruler when I go on a date why would I but when I got home I actually held a one up to my chest and tried to estimate what I had seen. They had to be six inches long. Do they make bras in a 36L? They hung there for all the world to see. Or at least me and a now shocked twenty-something year old hostess who opened the front door for us. I was brought up to be a gentleman. Not to embarrass or humiliate. So I smiled and led her inside. Maybe I walked a tad too quickly. A table by the far wall please. Maybe on the other side of the wall. THIS BOOK WILL FALL ON MANY THIRTY GROUNDS, Elke, Berlin I INTEND TO RECOMMEND IT TO ALL MY GIRFRINDS, Judi, L.A. It took a certain amount of strength to accept that a life alone was a better life. Then it took time to decide that a life alone would be better if shared with the person I love, only --- I hadn’t found him yet. The process of finding my perfect man was emotionally exhausting and fraught with anxiety about what lay ahead. Did my perfect man even exist? If only life had fast-forward and rewind buttons. Alas! That’s not how life works! I just had to plunge in, keep looking for what I wanted, sorting and sifting, hoping the right man would find me and love me back. And he did.

Yes, there is life and love after internet dating. I know there are a few of you out there that actually met and married a great person you found online. And even more of you that meet a person that you enjoyed on some level for some period of time. But then there is the rest of us that failed miserably on all levels and need some HELP Well here is a funny little guide to helping you along the way...or just add a few laughs to your day, because...you are not alone. Hello, My name is Sharon Blount-Marra-Scholfield. I have gone back to my maiden name and I have decided that I will stay with my original name if you will...Sharon Ann Scholfield. I have roots in a very traditional Methodist family, that no way helped me to deal with the real world. But I had a lovely if not boring childhood. I was a tomboy, did not like to play with dolls, unless we were hiding them for some sort of game. When I turned 30 I decided it was more fun to be a girl, and my life made a pivotal change...mentally. Divorced at 42 and then things really ramped up a notch. More to follow... I have a son Andy who is in his residency in Michigan. I hope to be a grandmother some day. I just hope it happens while I can still hear...are you the mom or the grandma Seriously, like most of you, I want a traditional relationship in this ever changing world in which we live in. I wish you all great adventures with someone you think is cute.SAS
