This Series is composed of both individual Chrismons and sets of Chrismons that are related by topic or theme. Two of the featured sets are "Angels and Archangels" and the "Parable Balls." Some the individual Chrismons include the Crown of Thorns, Wheat and Grapes, Palms, and various crosses not in either of the other series. Only one size pattern is given in this series. However, over half of the Chrismons in it are suitable for either home or church use. The worship program included uses Chrismons from both the Basic and Advanced books. Slight modification to the program can eliminate the use of the Basic Chrismons if desired. The instructions for the Advanced Series were revised and reprinted during the spring of 1973. The printing includes photographs of all the Chrismons in the Advanced Series. No Chrismon designs are duplicated in any of the series.

In his powerful yet compassionate voice, Pastor Rick Warren tells the most wonderful story of all - the story of God come to earth in the form of a human infant. Warren goes back to that day long ago when the baby Jesus was born in the manger. In this clarion call to 'remember the reason for the season', readers are taken back in time to the simple origins of a baby who changed history forever. Warren gives readers an intimate look into his family heritage as he shares the fifty-year-old Warren Christmas tradition of having a birthday party for Jesus.
