Welcome to the world of the Alpha Claimed. Each story features a strong woman and the man or men that love her. Every book is standalone, but once you read one you'll want to read the others. Piper Rain is a romance author that stopped believing in love. She's been unable to write about it since her divorce and having her heart broken. So she gets away and looks for inspiration out in the mountains. What she didn't expect to find was a sexy, romantic neighbor that would bring the spark of hope back into her heart. Zain Lockwood is happy living out in the woods on his own. Though he is the alpha of a clan, he prefers solitude. Until a strong, beautiful but wounded female ends up as his neighbor. Suddenly, teaching her that love exists and that she is the perfect mate for him becomes his sole focus. With problems with a neighboring Alpha and trying to find a way to romance Piper, Zain has his hands full. Piper's been emotionally hurt and she's not sure that she can love again. Even if it means letting go of the only man who's ever made her feel anything. But it all comes to a head when someone takes his mate. Zain will do anything to make sure Piper's safe, even if it means killing one of his own.

Socialite. Magician. Jordan Baker grows up in the most rarefied circles of 1920s American society—she has money, education, a killer golf handicap, and invitations to some of the most exclusive parties of the Jazz Age. She’s also queer and Asian, a Vietnamese adoptee treated as an exotic attraction by her peers, while the most important doors remain closed to her. But the world is full of wonders: infernal pacts and dazzling illusions, lost ghosts and elemental mysteries. In all paper is fire, and Jordan can burn the cut paper heart out of a man. She just has to learn how. Maristella Botticini and Zvi Eckstein show that, contrary to previous explanations, this transformation was driven not by anti-Jewish persecution and legal restrictions, but rather by changes within Judaism itself after 70 CE--most importantly, the rise of a new norm that required every Jewish male to read and study the Torah and to send his sons to school. Over the next six centuries, those Jews who found the norms of Judaism too costly to obey converted to other religions, making world Jewry shrink. Later, when urbanization and commercial expansion in the newly established Muslim Caliphates increased the demand for occupations in which literacy was an advantage, the Jews found themselves literate in a world of almost universal illiteracy. From then forward, almost all Jews entered crafts and trade, and many of them began moving in search of business opportunities, creating a worldwide Diaspora in the process.

Arminianism is rife within the modern evangelical church, with vocal proponents attacking the orthodox teaching of Calvinism. One such critic is Leighton Flowers, the director of Evangelism and Apologetics for Texas Baptists who leads the Soteriology 101 ministry. His book The Potter’s Promise has influenced many against Calvinism. An overview of Flowers’s theology is given in this book, chapter by chapter, and is exposed as an erroneous view of salvation. In these chapters the reader gets a historical overview of Calvinist thought. The reader will see how it is free-will theology that can be associated more with a heretical Gnostic ideology called Manichaeism as well as works-based Pelagianism. The various doctrines of Calvinism are supported from Scripture. This book also deals with common misrepresentations of Calvinism (i.e., that prayer is not necessary or that Calvinists don’t feel the need to evangelize) and provides the reader with a biblical basis for the several associated teachings of Calvinism in the appendix.

Taken from her home after a brutal attack, Rune is told to find a mate by spring, or one will be chosen for her. Of course the one she wants is the one who says he doesn’t want to claim her, but she’s not going to let him push her away. Bear is the second in command, but his honor won’t allow him to abuse his station. He doesn’t want the men to think he used his rank to get first choice, even if everything about Rune tempts him to take her for himself. ***This is book 2 of the Alpha Barbarians series. It can be read as a standalone but is better after reading Raider’s Treasure. This story is a slow-burn Historical Fantasy Omegaverse Romance.***
