Bandit's Story is a book about one of America's true heroes - a working K9 police dog. This is a fictionalized account of his life, in his words, translated into words by his "person mom." Bandit tells, in his own unique way, what it is like to be a police dog (he is currently retired), what he does at work and what he does for fun, and all the interesting people he meets along the way. He offers advice and wisdom from a doggie perspective.

This is the second book in the Bandit series. Bandit introduces different family pets and friends pets who tell their own stories and offer advice on different situations.

Carl Janaway - The Smartest Bandit of the Cookson Hills Last Surviving Bank Robber of the 1930's, Builder of getaway cars for "Pretty Boy" Floyd, Nursemaid to Al Capone in Alcatraz Prison. by Gary D. Courtney The life, times, and character of one of the most elusive gangsters of the 1930's era, who survived by going straight after prison and becoming an upstanding citizen. Based upon the author's month-long museum exhibit of Carl Janaway's possessions and story, which filled the John Vaughn Library lobby at Northeastern State University. Famous Sheriff Grover Bishop, who killed more men (17) than Wyatt Earp, chased Carl Janaway over 3,000 miles, and couldn't catch him. Carl's wife was also a bank robber, called the "Blonde Bandit", of rough and rowdy Vian, Oklahoma. Janaway spent time in Alcatraz Prison with some of the deadliest gangsters of the time.

The Making of Indian English Literature brings together seventeen well-researched essays of Subhendu Mund with a long introduction by the author historicising the development of the Indian writing in English while exploring its identity among the many appellations tagged to it. The volume demonstrates, contrary to popular perceptions, that before the official introduction of English education in India, Indians had already tried their hands in nearly all forms of literature: poetry, fiction, drama, essay, bio­graphy, autobiography, book review, literary criticism and travel writing. Besides translation activities, Indians had also started editing and publish­ing periodicals in English before 1835. Through archival research the author brings to discussion a number of unknown and less discussed texts which contributed to the development of the genre.
