The Canada Pension Plan Account and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Fund financial statements are also presented. The report concludes with an annual report of the Canada Pension Plan Advisory Board.

The Review Tribunals were created as a body independent from government, to make determinations regarding eligibility for persons claiming Canada Pension Plan or Old Age Security benefits. The Plan is a defined benefit plan primarily for employees of the British Columbia provincial government and certain Crown corporations, agencies and institutions. This annual report looks at the roles and responsibilities of the Advisory Board, the Superannuation Commission, and the Office of the Chief Investment Officer.
