22 Miles out to sea, off the coast of Cape Cod Massachusetts, lies a little sliver of paradise called Nantucket Island. The magical experience begins the moment the ferry carrying bright-eyed visitors glides around the Brant Point Lighthouse and into Nantucket Harbor. Church steeples dot the horizon, gray shingled cottages line the wharf and sailboats bob on their moorings. As guests descend the boat ramp and step onto the brick-paved wharf there are so many quaint details it's impossible to take them all in at once. One new island visitor was overheard saying, "It's like Disneyland for grown-ups." Tourists and summer residents get the opportunity to experience the island "in season" when all the shops and restaurants are in full swing and the population can swell to over 50,000. But those who call Nantucket home know the best kept secrets of the island are revealed all year long. Shellie Dunlap and her family had owned a house on Nantucket for over 17 years before deciding to make the island their permanent home. During her first year as a new full time resident of the island (affectionately referred to as a "wash ashore" by long time Nantucketers) Shellie learns there is more to the island than she ever dreamed possible and much she has yet to discover. Come join her as she ushers you through one year of island life and inspires you to create your own Nantucket Experience.

Lisa Hodges has always thought her best friend Sue had a dream marriage. She'd married Curt, her high school sweetheart and current business partner. After thirty-five years of marriage, she never doubted him once--until Brandi Morgan joined their thriving insurance company. Brandi is thirty-five, blonde and beautiful and is also excellent at her account manager job. All the clients love her and business is up. Sue liked her quite a bit too--until the rumors started swirling. And it all began with A Nantucket Affair, the island's biggest charity gathering with a catered dinner and dancing on the beach. As usual, Curt is the chairman for the gala, and this year, he has a new second in command, Brandi. Sue didn't give it a second thought, until Curt suddenly dropped the fifteen pounds he'd been whining about wanting to lose and a few well meaning friends started asking her what was going on. Meanwhile, Kristen's boyfriend, Tyler is dealing with a devastating loss and Kristen wants to be there for him, but isn't sure how best to support him, especially when she discovers a secret he's been keeping, one that could have devastating consequences for both of them. Abby is busy learning how to be a new mother, and Lisa is madly in love with her first grandchild. And Chase and Beth have discovered a new passion project--flipping houses. Beth does the research to find the undervalued homes and Chase works his magic to renovate them. But then they get in over their heads when a project requires more than they could ever have imagined.

"The queen of beach reads" (New York Magazine) and #1 New York Times bestselling author delivers an immensely satisfying page-turner in this tale about a summer of scandal at a storied Nantucket hotel. Fresh off a bad breakup with a longtime boyfriend, Nantucket sweetheart Lizbet Keaton is desperately seeking a second act. When she's named the new general manager of the Hotel Nantucket, a once Gilded Age gem turned abandoned eyesore, she hopes that her local expertise and charismatic staff can win the favor of their new London billionaire owner, Xavier Darling, as well as that of Shelly Carpenter, the wildly popular Instagram tastemaker who can help put them back on the map. And while the Hotel Nantucket appears to be a blissful paradise, complete with a celebrity chef-run restaurant and an idyllic wellness center, there's a lot of drama behind closed doors. The staff (and guests) have complicated pasts, and the hotel can't seem to overcome the bad reputation it earned in 1922 when a tragic fire killed nineteen-year-old chambermaid Grace Hadley. With Grace gleefully haunting the halls, a staff harboring all kinds of secrets, and Lizbet's own romantic uncertainty, is the Hotel Nantucket destined for success or doom? Filled with the emotional depth and multiple points of view that characterize Hilderbrand's novels (The Blue Bistro, Golden Girl) as well as an added dash of Roaring Twenties history, The Hotel Nantucket offers something for everyone in this compelling summer drama.

The ties between women can run as deep as the ocean--but so can the secrets. For 20 years, Kayla, Antoinette and Val have performed their own special summer ritual. Once a year, the old friends put aside their daily, separate lives to drink champagne, swap stories and swim naked under the Nantucket stars. But on one of those bonding nights, one of their trio swims out from the shore and doesn't return. After the surviving friends emerge from their grief, they realize that the repercussions of their loss go far beyond their little circle, and they begin to uncover layers of secrets--and their connections to each other--that were never revealed on the beach. What has made their friendship strong now has the power to destroy--their marriages, families, even themselves, in Elin Hilderbrand's Nantucket Nights.

William Alexander is a 13th generation Nantucket Native with ties back to the founding members of the original settlers of Sherburne. He has been looking into ghosts since his first paranormal experience at the age of eight. By thirteen he was performing ghost hunts on Nantucket and has since continued to do so nationwide. From 2003 to 2005, he wrote, produced and performed a one man show called The Nantucket Haunted Hike which garnered him recognition from celebrities, politicians and the general public. In 2005, he penned the book, "Haunted Nantucket Island" as a supplement to his tour. Now, after having been available for Kindle for a few years, the new edition of the book is here complete with a new story collected from another islander, stories as he had once told them on his tour, and an essay the author wrote for an online paranormal magazine. This new version of the book will delight, chill, and if you were ever a member of his tour group, bring back memories much like a ghost brings back a memory of a bygone era.
