To the ferry, where persons, cattle, and goods, are passed over on moderate terms, each tenement in the parish of Swansea, and in the lower division of Llansamlet, and every housekeeper in the township of Swansea, is chargeable with four-pence a 'year; and in the higher division of Llansamlet, with two-pence a year. Ferryside house furnishes good entertainment to visitors, and a few lodgings are let here during the season. STRAND.
