This is an open access book. With the support of universities and the research of AEIC Academic Exchange Center, The 2nd International Conference on Economic Development and Business Culture (ICEDBC 2022) will be held in Dali from June 24th to 26th. Compared with previous conferences, it will discuss more in-depth economic independent innovation, open cooperation and innovative business culture under the background of the new development stage, new situation and new journey era. There will be a broad exchange environment. Well-known experts, scholars or entrepreneurs in the field will be invited to make keynote reports. Contributing authors are also very welcome to actively participate in the conference and build an academic exchange ceremony.

Electronics, communication and networks coexist, and it is not possible to conceive of our current society without them. Within the next decade we will probably see the consolidation of 6G-based technology, accompanied by many compatible devices, and fiber-optic is already an advanced technology with many applications. This book presents the proceedings of CECNet 2022, the 12th International Conference on Electronics, Communications and Networks, held as a virtual event with no face-to-face participation in Xiamen, China, from 4 to 7 November 2022. CECNet is held annually, and covers many interrelated groups of topics such as electronics technology, communication engineering and technology, wireless communications engineering and technology and computer engineering and technology. This year the conference committee received 313 submissions. All papers were carefully reviewed by program committee members, taking into consideration the breadth and depth of research topics falling within the scope of the conference, and after further discussion, 79 papers were selected for presentation at the conference and for publication in this book. This represents an acceptance rate of about 25%. The book offers an overview of the latest research and developments in these rapidly evolving fields, and will be of interest to all those working with electronics, communication and networks.

This book provides a collection of the state-of-the-art research attempts to tackle the challenges in image and signal processing from various novel and potential research perspectives. The book investigates feature extraction techniques, image enhancement methods, reconstruction models, object detection methods, recommendation models, deep and temporal feature analysis, intelligent decision support systems, and autonomous image detection models. In addition to this, the book also looks into the potential opportunities to monitor and control the global pandemic situations. Image processing technology has progressed significantly in recent years, and it has been commercialized worldwide to provide superior performance with enhanced computer/machine vision, video processing, and pattern recognition capabilities. Meanwhile, machine learning systems like CNN and CapsNet get popular to provide better model hierarchical relationships and attempts to more closely mimic biological neural organization. As machine learning systems prosper, image processing and machine learning techniques will be tightly intertwined and continuously promote each other in real-world settings. Adopting this trend, however, the image processing researchers are faced with few image reconstruction, analysis, and segmentation challenges. On the application side, the orientation of the image features and noise removal has become a huge burden.

This book reviews present state-of-the-art research related to the security of cloud computing including developments in conversational AI applications. It is particularly suited for those that bridge the academic world and industry, allowing readers to understand the security concerns in advanced security solutions for conversational AI in the cloud platform domain by reviewing present and evolving security solutions, their limitations, and future research directions. Conversational AI combines natural language processing (NLP) with traditional software like chatbots, voice assistants, or an interactive voice recognition system to help customers through either a spoken or typed interface. Conversational chatbots that respond to questions promptly and accurately to help customers are a fascinating development since they make the customer service industry somewhat self-sufficient. A well-automated chatbot can decimate staffing needs, but creating one is a time-consuming process. Voice recognition technologies are becoming more critical as AI assistants like Alexa become more popular. Chatbots in the corporate world have advanced technical connections with clients thanks to improvements in artificial intelligence. However, these chatbots’ increased access to sensitive information has raised serious security concerns. Threats are one-time events such as malware and DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service) assaults. Targeted strikes on companies are familiar and frequently lock workers out. User privacy violations are becoming more common, emphasizing the dangers of employing chatbots. Vulnerabilities are systemic problems that enable thieves to break in. Vulnerabilities allow threats to enter the system, hence they are inextricably linked. Malicious chatbots are widely used to spam and advertise in chat rooms by imitating human behavior and discussions, or to trick individuals into disclosing personal information like bank account details.
