The general objective of this book is to familiarize you with highly frequent Persian proverbs. For this purpose, among thousands of Persian proverbs we tried to select those that are essential and more frequently heard in spoken language for further description. Also, practical instances are offered for better understanding of proverbs beside of main descriptions, so that the reader could imagine the described conditions and states so as to understand the meaning of the proverbs and to easily use them. In the end, it should be noted that this book could be used as a two-purpose collection because firstly, the reader has learnt Persian proverbs and terms which consequently makes it easier for him/her to understand the concepts and speeches in Persian. Secondly, because of carefully selected words and verbs along with varied subjects used for better understanding of instances the reader will reinforce his/her reading skills.
