SALI Project Code LFZ. The Lower Fitzroy irrigation study project was to identify areas of potentially irrigable land along the Fitzroy River. This information would be used to assist with water infrastructure development plans. This report is the second of two components of the land evaluation study commenced in mid 1998. It is an assessment of the suitability of each of the mapping units identified in the soil survey for irrigation of a number of different crops.
