We have studied events with a high-x{sub F} antiproton and two central jets with E{sub T}> 7 GeV in CDF, in p{anti p} collisions at (square root)s = 1800 GeV. We find an excess of events with a rapidity gap at least 3.5 units wide in the proton direction, which we interpret as di-jet production in double pomeron exchange events.

This volume concentrates on three main areas of current research in high energy physics: (1) multiparticle and diffractive production in perturbative and nonperturbative QCD, (2) confinement-deconfinement mechanism and the RHIC physics, and (3) interface between high-energy collisions and cosmic-ray/astro-physics. The specific topics covered include: QCD at high energies, diffractive production, and small-x physics, multiparticle production and systematics: correlations and fluctuations, hadronic final states in e+e-, lepton-hadron and hadron-hadron collisions, relativistic heavy ion collisions, interface between high-energy collisions and cosmic-ray physics, and recent development in deconfinement.

In run I CDF made an extensive range of measurements studying diffractive processes. In run II these measurements can be extended using improved triggering, new detectors and larger data samples. In these proceedings run II measurements of single diffractive dijet production and double pomeron exchange production of dijets are presented.

We review published rapidity gap results on diffractive W and dijet production and discuss new results on diffractive b and J/[psi] production. The diffractive structure function of the proton obtained from Roman pot dijet data is presented and com- pared with expectations based on the diffractive parton densities extracted from DIS at HERA. Also presented are results on dijet production in double Pomeron exchange. Finally, we review hard double-diffractive results (rapidity gaps between jets) and present new results on soft double diffraction.
