We present a preliminary measurement of the b-quark production cross section in p{anti p} collisions at (square root)s = 630 GeV. The analysis is based on 340 nb−1 of data collected with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. We determine the ratio of the b-quark production cross sections at 630 GeV to 1800 GeV and compare our results with the CDF and UA1 measurements, and with the next-to- leading order QCD predictions.

We report on a measurement of the ratio of b-quark production cross section in p{ovr p} collisions at (square root)s = 630 GeV and (square root)s = 1800 GeV collected by the Collider Detector at Fermilab. Results are compared to the predictions of next-to-leading order QCD calculations. 16 refs., 4 figs.

We report on the status of[ital b] quark and[ital b] hadron production using 110 pb[sup -1] of data collected by the CDF detector between 1992 and 1995. We present the first direct measurement of the ratio of[ital b] quark cross sections at[radical][ital s]= 630 GeV and[radical][ital s]= 1800 GeV, and an update on the measurement of the[ital B] meson differential cross section. We also present measurements of the branching fraction for b[r-arrow] J[Psi] A, and the product of fragmentation fraction and branching fractions for the semileptonic decay b[r-arrow][mu][sup+][ital e][sup -][nu]X. The last two equations were illegible and are a best guess to the original intent.

^ 74 GeV and |y| 2.4; the b jets must contain a B hadron. The measurement has significant statistics up to p T ∼ O(TeV). Advanced methods of unfolding are performed to extract the signal. It is found that fixed-order calculations with underlying event describe the measurement well.
